This year the African American Club will be offering the following scholarships:
The AAC of Pasco Scholarship
Awarded to high school students who have maintained a 2.0 or higher cumulative grade-point average or mature or returning students who wish to pursue post-secondary education at a college, university, or an apprenticeship/trade/technology program at a technical college
The Harry Mines Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to African American students with a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average pursuing a degree in Special Education
In honor of the son of Shantay Mines
The Lawrence Christopher Guy Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to students of all races with a documented disability who have maintained a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and who are pursuing a post-secondary degree. In honor of the son of Aleacia Guy
Scholarship Applicant Requirements
- Senior in high school or GED recipient seeking a post-secondary education at a college, university or technical college as a full-time student OR:
- Mature or returning student who is pursuing their education,
- Current resident of Pasco County, Florida.
