Scholarships Offered by the African American Club of Pasco
- The AAC of Pasco Scholarship
Awarded to high school students who have maintained a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average or returning students who wish to pursue post-secondary education at a college, university, or an apprenticeship/trade/technology program at a technical college.
- The Harry Mines Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an African American high school student with a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average pursuing a degree in Special Education.
In honor of the son of Shantay Mines - Lawrence Christopher Guy Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to students of all races with a documented disability who have maintained a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and who are pursuing a post-secondary degree. In honor of the son of Aleacia Guy
- The Wallace Jordan Scholarship
Awarded to students of all races in need seeking higher education.

Scholarship Applicant Requirements
- Must be a current resident of Pasco County, Florida.
- Complete and sign the AAC Scholarship Application.
- Submit an Official transcript.
- Include 3 letters of Recommendation.
- Include the Acceptance Letter from the college, university, or technical college as a full-time student.
- Answer all questions in order. Your answers to the questions are the criteria upon which your application will be evaluated.
- Your application will NOT be accepted if documentation is handwritten.
- Submit the Application packet by midnight on May 15.
- Ensure that the scholarship selected is referred to in the Required Documentation.
Note: If applying for more than one scholarship, only 1 application is needed and only 1 scholarship will be awarded.
