Black History 2016 Month Events

The public is invited to attend the following events as the African American Club of Pasco celebrates February 2016 as Black History Month here in Pasco County.

All of the events below are free unless a price is shown, and unless a different location is
given, will take place at the AAC Building, 6105 Pine Hill Rd.

Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
AAC Salute to Our Veterans, featuring AAC member and guest speaker Shawn Mines of the Veterans Center
Speaking on "The Buffalo Soldiers' Female Calvary member."
Any veteran attending will be recognized.

Wednesday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m.
The film "Half Yellow Sun" upstairs at the
New Port Richey Library, Main St. New Port Richey.

Saturday, February 20, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The African American Club of Pasco's Scholarship
Dinner Dance at Seven Springs Resort and Golf Club, Little Road, New Port Richey, $50 each

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 6 p.m.
The film "Sembene" upstairs at the
